What makes our blend so different?
Our Dry Rub Seasoning is "chemically" formulated to seal in juices and flavor while not compromising the integral flavor of what it's used on or in.
Chemically?? Yes, but not what you are thinking.
Spices and herbs are natures chemical flavors and there are more to them than just flavor. For example, SALT, enhances flavor, but also can be used to draw out moisture from food. It also allows the pores of meats to open and infuse other flavors into the meat. Spices and herbs are comprised of various naturally formed chemicals that give them their own uniqueness and allow them to either blend well with one another or not.
When spices and herbs are not used in the correct proportions (like most blends) they will react badly with the other ingredients and have an unbalanced flavor profile.
Chef of the Future's "Not Your Average Cajun Seasoning" is blended to perfection and maintains a flavor balance unsurpassed by any other Cajun Seasoning blends. It tastes different on everything because it have been formulated to combine it's flavor with the flavors inherent in meats, seafood's, etc. It does not cover up or overpower your food.
We add just enough confectioners sugar so during grilling or broiling our blend caramelizes to seal in juices.
A bit of cornstarch is added as insurance to guarantee our blends stays put on the meat and doesn't end up seasoning your coals or burners.
