   Brand Seasonings

You will need:

2 lbs Ground Turkey (or 1 1/3 lb turkey and 2/3 lb ground beef)

1 Large Yellow Onion, diced (5 inch Diameter)

5 Cloves Garlic, minced

2 T Chef of the Future Brand Cajun Seasoning

1 T Garlic Powder

2 T Chili Powder

3   14 ounce cans Diced tomatoes (low or no salt)

1   15 ounce can Black Beans (drained)

1   15 ounce can Red Kidney Beans (drained)

1   15 ounce can Pinto Beans (drained)

1   8 ounce can Tomato Sauce (low or no salt)

2   cups Corn Niblets

1/4 t Black Pepper

1 small can Diced Green Chile peppers

4 T Olive Oil

Procedure:

Heat the oil in a large pot over medium high heat.  Add the Onion and Garlic, cook until translucent.  Add to the pot the ground turkey or turkey and beef combination. Add the meat to cook and crumble the meat with a wooden spoon. Once the meat is browned, drain the fat and add the Garlic Powder, chili powder and Cajun Seasoning.  Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.  Turn up the heat to High and add the remaining ingredients to bring the mixture to a simmer.  At this point, turn the heat down to low and cook until the chili thickens.  You can also put this mixture in a pre-heated crock pot and continue to cook for about 4 hours or up to 7 hours on low.  The longer this simmers, the better the flavors will blossom.

Cheers!

This recipe is perfect for anyone who loves a hearty bowl of Chili.  I used a combination of Ground Turkey and Ground Beef, but you can use all beef or all turkey or even beefs chunks such as stew beef although you may have to simmer longer so that the beef is nice and tender. For the Best Flavor, please do not add anything to thicken the chili, like Masa flour or cornstarch. It will thicken on it's own with time.
